Alan Campbell Fabric: Silvio Small Scale - Jungle Green on Tinted Belgian Linen

Alan Campbell Silvio Small Scale - Jungle Green on Tinted Linen

Herringbone is one of those patterns that exists in two distinct evolutionary branches. There’s the tasteful menswear version that whispers “I summer in Connecticut,” and then there’s this: a tight, almost vibrating chevron in a green so committed it borders on botanical aggression.

Silvio at small scale does something clever - the zigzag is tight enough that from six feet away it reads as solid textured green, but up close you get all that directional energy. It’s the visual equivalent of standing next to someone who’s had three espressos and is about to explain their position on zoning reform. Alert. Directional. Not here to blend.
Nine yards is enough for a pair of slipper chairs or one statement chair with matching ottoman and leftover yardage for a cushion that makes everything else in the room reconsider its choices. The tinted linen ground keeps the jungle green from going full tropical, which means this works in libraries and dining rooms, not just sunrooms.

Alan Campbell understands that geometry plus saturation equals conviction. This is not a maybe-green. This is a green with a thesis.
