Dwarf Gnome with Mushroom Porcelain Limoges Box

A storybook dwarf stands beside a mushroom in this porcelain figurine box, looking like a character who just wandered out of a fairy tale forest. It is a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box made in Limoges, France, full of woodland charm.

Under the Toadstool

Little folk with a fondness for mushrooms have filled storybooks for generations, whether you call them dwarves, gnomes or hobbits. This one keeps company with a single mushroom, as if guarding a secret path through the woods. It is playful and a little mysterious, just as a good fairy tale should be.

Woodland Folk

• Limoges porcelain decorated by hand
• Fits a fairy tale, gnome or woodland collection
• A cute accent for a bookshelf near storybooks

Once Upon a Shelf

Set it on a bookshelf beside fantasy novels, in a garden room or on a windowsill among potted ferns. It makes a fun present for a fantasy reader, a garden gnome collector, a mushroom forager or anyone who still believes in a little magic. Collectors who keep a whole village of gnomes will find room for one more.
