Half Lime Slice Porcelain Limoges Box

Cut clean through the middle, this lime half shows its fresh green fruit inside the rind. It is a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box made in Limoges, France, a crisp citrus accent that suits a kitchen or a home bar equally well.

A Twist of Lime

Limes bring brightness to everything from margaritas to key lime pie, and this porcelain half captures that zesty spirit. The cut face makes it more interesting than a whole fruit, showing off the inside the way a chef would at the cutting board. It adds a pop of green to any grouping.

Citrus and Cocktails

• Painted porcelain from Limoges
• Fits a fruit, citrus or cocktail collection
• A fun addition to a bar cart beside the margarita glasses

Squeezed From the Kiln

Many Limoges boxes are painted by hand after the white porcelain has been fired, which is how this lime gets its fresh green tones. Give it to a home bartender, a key lime pie baker, a Florida native or anyone who brightens a drink with a wedge of lime, and set it beside the pear and peach boxes for a colorful fruit row.
