Spotted Dog Porcelain Figurine Limoges Box

A spotted pup sits for its portrait in this porcelain figurine box, its coat dotted with painted markings. It is a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box made in Limoges, France, with the easygoing charm of the family dog who greets everyone at the door.

Spots Before Your Eyes

Every spotted dog seems to have a personality as bold as its coat. This little figure captures that friendly, playful spirit in a sitting pose that fits neatly on a shelf. It is shaped as the dog itself, so it reads as a small sculpture rather than a box with a painted lid.

Good Dog Credentials

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Fits a dog, puppy or pet collection
• Joins the white Yorkshire Terrier box for a canine pair

Firehouse to Front Porch

Set it on a desk, a mantel or a bookshelf where a real pup might curl up nearby. Owners of Dalmatians and spotted mixed breeds will find it familiar, and it makes a kind present for a veterinarian, a dog trainer or a firefighter with a soft spot for spotted dogs. It also works as a welcome home token for a newly adopted puppy.
