Thanksgiving Cornucopia Horn of Plenty Limoges Box

A horn of plenty overflowing with the fall harvest captures the spirit of Thanksgiving in a single small form. This hand-painted porcelain Limoges box was made in Limoges, France, and it carries one of the oldest symbols of abundance and gratitude.

Plenty to Go Around

The cornucopia goes back to ancient myth, where a goat's horn spilled endless food and good fortune. Here the curving basket and its tumble of produce are painted by hand, so the colors and details of each box vary slightly.

Autumn Table Partners

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• A centerpiece for a Thanksgiving or harvest collection
• Pairs with turkey, pumpkin, acorn and pilgrim boxes

Gratitude on Display

Set it in the middle of the Thanksgiving table among candles and gourds, or on a mantel from October through November. It makes a gracious thank-you for the family member who hosts the big dinner every year, and a welcome present for newlyweds hosting their first holiday meal. Teachers, church volunteers and food bank organizers who give thanks year round also appreciate it.

When the leftovers are gone and the dishes are put away, this little horn of plenty can stay out to mark the season a bit longer.
